Celia is an Architect based at Pattern's London studio.

Since joining Pattern, Celia has worked on the Aquatic Centre for the VIDENA National Sports Complex, and the Coliseo for the Callao Sports Village, both for the 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games in Lima, Peru. As a Spanish speaker, Celia was involved in the technical design and coordination of the project, liaising directly with the Client. She also assisted with the delivery of detailed BIM information for projects, running construction packages throughout. She is an architect with excellent planning and organisational skills, with 5 years of experience working in the UK. Currently, she is working on the Education City Stadium for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Prior to Pattern, Celia has worked in Edinburgh based practices on several projects throughout Scotland; assisting with works from the preliminary design stages to the production of detailed design information. She is an architect with experience across a wide range of sectors including commercial, retail, interiors, as well as refurbishment and rebranding projects throughout the UK.
After having obtained her Master of Architecture at IE University in Spain in 2011, Celia worked as an architect on residential and commercial projects in Spain. She also studied at Bauhaus-University of Weimar in Germany for two years.
Celia also obtained an Honours degree in Quantity Surveying from SEK University, Segovia, in 2001, qualifying as a Technical Architect under the Spanish Education System. After completing this degree, she worked for 4 years as a Quantity Surveyor in Madrid, in both the private and public sectors.
