Ioanna is a computational designer, based in Pattern's London office.

Ioanna graduated from the Bartlett, UCL with an MSc in Adaptive Architecture and Computation. She also holds a MArch degree that focuses on Architecture Engineering. At university, Ioanna carried out extensive research work in ‘The Application of Artificial Intelligence to the Built Environment’ and ‘Using Tensegrity to Create Responsive Structure’. She brings to Pattern her skills as a Computational Designer and contributes to our R&D work in ongoing projects.
Since joining Pattern, Ioanna developed her BIM skills, leading to her certification as a professional user of Autodesk Revit from Autodesk University.
Whilst at Pattern, Ioanna was involved in the design of the masterplan for the Qatar Foundation’s Education City Stadium and Precinct for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Most recently Ioanna led a team to deliver an Athletics Warm-up track and a Bowling Centre for the Pan American and Para Pan-American games for Lima 2019.
